Overview¶
The Platforms section allows you to connect and manage multiple social media accounts from a centralized dashboard. Connect Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and TikTok accounts to publish content across all your channels.

Connected Accounts¶
Account Management¶
Account List Display:
The Accounts section shows all connected social media profiles with:
- Name - Account owner or page name
- Status - Active/Inactive indicator
- Creation Date - When account was connected
- Platform - Social media network icon
- Actions - Refresh or remove account

Adding New Accounts¶
Connection Process¶
Step 1: Select Platform
- Navigate to Platforms page
- Choose platform to connect:
- X (Twitter)
- TikTok
Step 2: Authenticate
Click "Add New Account" button for your chosen platform
Step 3: Grant Permissions
Authorize iQuivity AI to: - Publish posts on your behalf - Read basic profile information - Access page/account analytics - Schedule content
Step 4: Verify Connection
- Account appears in list with "Active" status
- Platform icon displayed
- Account name shown
- Creation timestamp recorded
Platform-Specific Setup¶
Facebook Connection¶
Requirements: - Facebook Page (for businesses) - Admin access to the page - Facebook Business account
Permissions Needed:
- pages_manage_posts - Publish to page
- pages_read_engagement - Read insights
- pages_show_list - List available pages
Setup Steps: 1. Click "Add New Account" under Facebook 2. Log into Facebook 3. Select page(s) to connect 4. Grant requested permissions 5. Confirm connection
Instagram Connection¶
Requirements: - Instagram Business or Creator account - Connected to Facebook Page - Admin access
Permissions Needed:
- instagram_basic - Basic profile access
- instagram_content_publish - Publish posts
- instagram_manage_insights - View analytics
Setup Steps: 1. Click "Add New Account" under Instagram 2. Connect via Facebook (Instagram requires Facebook) 3. Select Instagram account 4. Grant permissions 5. Verify connection
X (Twitter) Connection¶
Requirements: - X/Twitter account - Verified email address - API access (handled by platform)
Permissions Needed: - Read and write access - Direct message access (optional)
Setup Steps: 1. Click "Add New Account" under X 2. Authorize iQuivity AI app 3. Grant permissions 4. Confirm account connection
LinkedIn Connection¶
Requirements: - LinkedIn account or Company Page - Admin rights (for company pages)
Permissions Needed:
- w_member_social - Share content
- r_basicprofile - Read profile data
- r_organization_social - Company page access (if applicable)
Setup Steps: 1. Click "Add New Account" under LinkedIn 2. Sign in to LinkedIn 3. Grant permissions 4. Select profile or page 5. Confirm connection
TikTok Connection¶
Requirements: - TikTok Business account - Verified account - Content creator or business profile
Permissions Needed: - Video upload permissions - Profile information access - Analytics access
Setup Steps: 1. Click "Add New Account" under TikTok 2. Log into TikTok 3. Authorize application 4. Grant necessary permissions 5. Verify connection
Managing Connected Accounts¶
Account Actions¶
Refresh Connection (🔄)
Renew authentication for an account: - Click refresh icon next to account - Re-authenticate if needed - Updates token and permissions - Resolves connection issues
Remove Account (✕)
Disconnect a social media account: 1. Click remove (✕) icon 2. Confirm deletion 3. Account removed from list 4. Access revoked on platform side
Removing Accounts
Removing an account will prevent scheduled posts from being published to that platform. Ensure no critical content is scheduled before removing.
Account Status¶
Status Indicators¶
Active - ✅ Green indicator - Account connected and working - Posts can be published - Analytics available
Inactive - ⚠️ Yellow/Orange indicator - Connection expired or broken - Requires re-authentication - Posts cannot be published
Failed - ❌ Red indicator - Authentication failed - Platform API issues - Immediate action required

Different plans may have account limits:
Free Plan: - Connect up to 3 accounts total - 1 account per platform
Starter Plan: - Connect up to 10 accounts - Multiple accounts per platform
Professional Plan: - Connect up to 25 accounts - Unlimited per platform
Enterprise Plan: - Unlimited accounts - White-label options - Custom integrations
